Key Responsibilities
Support Sensory & Motor Development
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Sensory processing and self-regulation
- Handwriting and self-care skills
- Attention and executive functioning
- Functional participation in school activities
Deliver Flexible, Play-Based Interventions
- Provide one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions.
- Implement classroom-based strategies and recommend environmental adaptations.
- Facilitate targeted after-school programs that promote independence, engagement, and confidence.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Partner with Little Dalton Kindergartento support smooth developmental transitions.
Align sensory-motor goals across early years and primary levels, promoting inclusive practices from kindergarten through middle school.
Contribute to Professional Growth & Team Development
- Participate actively in professional development opportunities.
- Engage in case discussions and interdisciplinary planning meetings.
- Co-create holistic, child-centered support plans that unlock each student’s potential.
Partner with Families
- Maintain warm, transparent communication with parents and caregivers.
- Share progress updates and collaborate on home-based strategies to ensure consistency across environments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university (or equivalent).
- Registered with the Hong Kong Occupational Therapists Board (or eligible for registration).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experiencein a school, early intervention center, or pediatric therapy setting.
- Demonstrated passion for working with children in pediatric or school-based environments.
- Proactive, independent, and highly accountable, with strong collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary, multi-age team setting.
Working Conditions
- Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Part-time with flexible scheduling; details to be discussed).
- Location:Modern, child-centered campus at 41B Stubbs Road, Mid-Levels, within a vibrant, multicultural school community that includes Little Dalton Kindergarten.
