Qualifications

• Perform daily horticultural tasks including propagation, seed germination, caring for seedlings, watering, weeding, pest control, planting and fertilising.
• Comply with work safety guidelines.
• Prepare planting medium for different plant species.
• Carry out cleaning for gardening tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisory staff to perform the daily work.
• Responsible for routine gardening work in the nursery and exhibition areas.
• Apply horticultural skills to propagate and care for seedlings.
• Regularly water, weed and perform pest control for seedlings and gardens.
• Prepare suitable planting medium for various plant species and apply organic products as needed.
• Carry out cleaning for gardening tools and comply with safety guidelines.
• Set up preventive measures for typhoon preparation and perform site checks after events.
• Attend to other indoor tasks in bad weather and any other duties requested by management.

Job Summary:

The job-holder has to perform daily task as assigned by supervisory staff of the team. S/he should apply the horticultural techniques to carry out propagation and gardening works, which including seed germination, caring of seedlings, watering, weeding, pest control, planting, applying fertiliser and preparation for planting medium both in the nursery and the exhibition areas. The jobs should be done with work safety concerns.

• Follow instruction from supervisory staff to perform the daily work.
• Responsible for routine gardening work in the nursery and exhibition areas.
• Applying the horticulture skills to carry out propagation and look after seedlings in the nursery.
• Responsible for the regular watering, weeding, pest control for the seedlings in the nursery & gardens.
• Preparing appropriate planting medium for different kinds of plant species.
• Applying organic pesticide & fertilizer for plants.
• Responsible to carry out cleaning for gardening tools.
• Comply with the work safety guidelines.

Other Duties:

• You are expected to strive to work in line with the KFBG values, in pursuit of the Vison and Mission of the organization, and to self-assess your performance in this regard.
• You are expected to participate in activities arranged by KFBG with the intention of developing the organizational culture.
• Sets up preventive measures for preparation of typhoon. After the typhoon, he should have site check and tidy up the area with personal protection gears.
• Performs other indoor tasks under bad weather.
• Any other duties as requested by the management.
