Job summary

A language services provider in Hong Kong is seeking a Native English Teacher for part-time employment. Responsibilities include teaching English to primary students, creating engaging lesson plans, and collaborating with local teachers. Candidates should be native or highly proficient English speakers, hold a university degree, and have teaching qualifications. This role offers a competitive salary and flexible work hours.

Qualifications

• A native speaker of English or highly proficient English speaker.
• A holder of university degree (in any subject).
• In possession of teaching-related qualifications such as TEFL/TESOL Certificate, CELTA and PGCE/PGDE in English.
• Prior experience in teaching the English subject in primary school(s).
• The ability to execute lessons with meaning, in a fun, and engaging manner.

Responsibilities

• Teach English as a second language to Hong Kong students in primary school (for students aged between 6 and 12).
• Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere.
• Lead and organise English activities outside the classroom.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Collaborate with local teachers and the English Panel of the schools on curriculum and resource development.
