Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a PhD in CS, ML, statistics, physics, applied math or related field.
• Proven experience applying ML techniques in academic or professional settings.
• Strong publication record in NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop ML models to identify patterns in noisy, non-stationary data.
• Work with the ML team on real, impactful problems in quantitative trading and finance.
• Collaborate with researchers, developers, and traders to improve models and explore novel approaches.
• Design and run experiments using the latest ML tools and frameworks.
• Receive one-on-one mentorship from experienced researchers and technologists.
• Participate in a comprehensive education program covering Susquehanna ML, quant, and trading practices.
• Apply rigorous scientific methods to extract signals from complex datasets and shape market understanding.
• Explore ML aspects from alpha generation to model deployment and risk-aware decision making.
