Job description

Amicorp Group is an independent global provider of corporate management, fiduciary, fund administration and financial markets services. Since 1992, we have helped entrepreneurs, families, investment managers, corporations and financial institutions simplify operations, stay compliant and protect and grow their assets. With offices across multiple jurisdictions worldwide, we combine local expertise with global reach.

The Opportunity

Our markets move fast. Competitors consolidate and launch new services, regulation changes the rules for international structures, jurisdictions rise and fall in attractiveness, and clients increasingly research providers by asking AI assistants rather than searching the web. Amicorp needs to see these changes early and act on them first.

The Market Intelligence Lead will be Amicorp’s eyes and ears on the outside world. You will build and run an always-on intelligence program covering competitors, industry trends, the regulatory environment, market opportunities and how Amicorp is seen online, including in AI assistants. You will turn what you find into clear, timely insights and recommendations for executives, business line leaders, sales offices and Marketing, so the Group can make better decisions about where to compete, what to offer and how to position itself.

What You’ll Work On
Always-On Monitoring
  • Build and run an always-on monitoring system that tracks competitors, industry news, regulatory developments, jurisdictions and market signals, using automated alerts, news and social listening tools, and AI-assisted research.
  • Review alerts every day, separate signal from noise, and elevate urgent developments to the right people quickly.
  • Set up a fast-response process for significant events, such as a competitor acquisition, a major regulatory announcement or a jurisdiction added to an international list, with a short briefing within an agreed timeframe.
  • Profile key competitors, including corporate service providers, fund administrators and trust companies, covering their services, jurisdictions, pricing signals, positioning, technology, partnerships, acquisitions and leadership changes.
  • Track competitor marketing, content, events and digital presence.
  • Maintain battlecards and competitive comparisons for the sales offices, and keep them current.
  • Gather win/loss insights with the Sales Operations & Office Liaison Lead and the sales offices to understand why Amicorp wins and loses business.
Industry Trends & Market Opportunities
  • Track trends shaping the industry, such as consolidation and private equity ownership of service providers, growth of private markets and alternative funds, digitalization and AI in fund and corporate administration, family office growth and changing client expectations.
  • Identify and size market opportunities by jurisdiction, client segment and service line, including new markets, underserved segments and services clients are starting to ask for.
  • Produce opportunity assessments to support decisions on new offices, services, partnerships and acquisitions.
Regulatory Environment Monitoring
  • Monitor regulatory and policy developments that affect Amicorp’s business and clients, such as changes to anti-money laundering rules, beneficial ownership and tax transparency requirements, economic substance rules, international tax reforms, sanctions, and fund and trust regulation in key jurisdictions.
  • Assess the likely commercial impact of changes, including risks to existing business and opportunities for new services, and share early warnings with business line leaders.
  • Work closely with Compliance and Legal, who remain responsible for interpreting regulation and Amicorp’s obligations. This role focuses on market and commercial impact.
  • Provide input for regulatory update content, working with the Integrated Content Strategist.
Digital Visibility Monitoring
  • Regularly review how Amicorp appears when clients and intermediaries look for information online, including through AI assistants, compared with competitors.
  • Track how visible, accurate and positive this information is, and flag incorrect or outdated information about the Group.
  • Recommend improvements to content and online presence, and share them with the Integrated Content Strategist (content) and the Web Development & MarTech Lead (technical changes), who carry them out.
  • Report on Amicorp’s digital visibility over time.
  • Produce a regular intelligence briefing for executives and business line leaders, plus deeper reports on priority topics.
  • Run an internal hub where colleagues can find intelligence, battlecards and reports, and submit questions.
  • Answer ad-hoc research requests from executives, sales offices and Marketing.
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly, with a point of view on what Amicorp should do.
Sources, Tools & Governance
  • Select and manage intelligence sources and tools, such as news and media monitoring, social listening, market databases, regulatory trackers and online visibility tools, within the budget.
  • Gather field intelligence through the office contact network coordinated by the Sales Operations & Office Liaison Lead, and build relationships with office heads, sales teams and subject-matter experts who share what they hear in their markets.
  • Ensure all intelligence is gathered ethically and legally from public or properly licensed sources, and that confidential information is never sought or used improperly.
How This Role Fits the Team
  • Head of Digital Business Development is this role’s line manager and uses its insights to set growth priorities and choose target segments, markets and partners.
  • Head of Group Marketing uses this role’s insights to guide positioning, messaging and competitive response.
  • Senior Manager, Digital Insights & Analytics owns insights from Amicorp’s own clients and data. This role covers the external market. Together they give a complete view of clients and the market.
  • Integrated Content Strategist uses this role’s insights on trends, competitors and regulation to shape content and messaging, and acts on its digital visibility recommendations.
  • Web Development & MarTech Lead carries out the technical website changes this role recommends.

  • Senior Technical Content Writer turns this role’s findings into client-ready regulatory updates and articles, and writes content that improves how Amicorp is found and described online.
  • Web & Design Technical Specialist applies agreed website updates.
  • Sales Operations & Office Liaison Lead delivers this role’s battlecards and insights to the sales teams, and gathers win/loss reviews and field feedback from the offices.
  • Special Projects Lead turns promising opportunities this role identifies, such as tokenization or new industries, into business cases and projects.
Education and Experience You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, International Relations, Marketing or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
  • 7+ years of experience in market or competitive intelligence, strategy, consulting, research or analysis, ideally in financial services, professional services, fund administration, trust and corporate services or wealth management.
  • Good understanding of the corporate services, fund, trust or international financial centers landscape, including how regulation affects it.
  • Proven experience building intelligence or research programs and turning findings into decisions.
  • Experience monitoring a company’s online visibility, including in AI tools.
Skills & Tools
  • Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to spot what matters early.
  • Experience with media monitoring, social listening and market intelligence tools (e.g. Meltwater, Brandwatch, Crayon, Klue, or similar), market databases and regulatory trackers.
