Job summary

Waihong Services Group in Hong Kong offers an 18‑month trainee program focusing on environmental services and operations. Trainees will rotate across various sites and departments, receiving mentorship to build practical expertise and professional qualifications.

Upon completion, successful candidates will be appointed as Assistant Operations Manager, with a view toward career progression in a growing environmental services company.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Sustainable Development preferred.
• Diploma or above with 1 year of work experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, good teamwork and adaptability.
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an 18‑month on‑the‑job training program with mentorship and site exposure.
• Rotate across different sites and supportive departments to gain company operations insight.
• Receive training for professional qualifications and career development.
• Upon successful completion, be appointed to Assistant Operations Manager.

Job description

During the 18 months training program, trainees will be given a series of on-job-training, mentorship, environmental protection work and professional qualificationstraining, together with a program of job rotation across different sites and supportive departmentsin orderto gain abroad exposuretotheCompany’sbusinessoperations. Upon successful completion of the program, the trainees will be appointed to Assistant Operations Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Environmental Science, Environmental Management , Sustainable Development or other disciplines is preferable, or
• Diploma holder or above with 1 year's working experience
• Innovative, energetic and always be a good team player, communicator and collaborator with strong communication
• Able to work independently and responsive to change under a fast paced environment
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English
• Fresh graduates with associate degree or above are welcome
