Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Optimize risk control measures across pre-, during-, and post-event lifecycle.

• Monitor, identify, and report risk events; oversee remediation.
• Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plan (BCP); coordinate internal drills and regulatory compliance.

Manager/ AVP - Risk Management - Operations Department

Risk Control Optimization: Optimize risk control measures across the pre-, during-, and post-event lifecycle in accordance with the bank’s operational risk management requirements. Conduct post-event risk investigations and continuously enhance the operational risk management framework.

Policy & System Development: Formulate operational risk management policies and lead the development or implementation of operational risk management systems and tools.

Risk Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor, identify, and report risk events within the operations line. Oversee the rectification of risk events. Collect and analyze monitoring indicator data and conduct self-assessments.

Business Continuity & Compliance: Develop and maintain the department’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Coordinate internal emergency drills and ensure timely implementation of relevant internal and external regulatory requirements.

Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required. The profession in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a bank related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge or understanding of the Hong Kong banking industry and regulatory framework.
• Basic understanding of banking systems and accounting logic.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Substantial experience or deep insights into operational risk management within the banking operations sector.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), CPA, or CISA are advantageous (not mandatory).
