Job summary

FWD Group Management Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Life Operations AML Specialist to support customer onboarding and regulatory compliance. You will screen documents, conduct EDD on complex cases, and work with Risk and Compliance to strengthen onboarding controls.

The role requires strong analytical skills, bilingual Chinese and English, and the ability to manage high-net-worth cases and tight deadlines. Knowledge of anti-money laundering in life insurance is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Business, Compliance, Risk Management and related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in life insurance sector and with knowledge on life insurance operations.
• Experience with high-net-worth applications as case manager is a plus.
• Deep understanding of AML requirements including EDD on complex structures.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Screen pre-underwriting documents and assess AML/CTF completeness.
• Perform enhanced due diligence for complex policyholder structures and jumbo cases.
• Handle EDD for high-risk customers during policyholder services and claims.
• Oversee Ops-related projects (onboarding system enhancements, AI tools).
• Advise and educate channels on AML/CTF requirements.
• Prepare and review procedures for Life Operations; liaise with Risk and Compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Compliance, New Business, Underwriting, Life Administration and Claims.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as required.
