Wavestone Hong Kong is expanding its analytics and technology advisory services, offering entry-level Analyst roles. You will work on management consulting projects spanning cybersecurity, digital risk, and IT strategy, contributing to client outcomes and growth in the Asia region.

The role emphasizes learning on the job, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to develop both consulting and technical skills in a dynamic international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, information systems, cybersecurity, analytics, or related fields.
• Prior consulting experience with project management and organizational transformation.
• Foundational IT knowledge with emphasis on cybersecurity.
• Strong consulting, communication, and analytical skills.
• Excellent English; Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive cybersecurity, digital risk, and technology topics for clients.
• Autonomously manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Develop and deliver presentations communicating findings and recommendations.
• Foster client relationships and act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor.

Job Description

Our Hong Kong office is growing, driven by market demand for management consulting services in technology and cybersecurity topics. This continued growth has created opportunities for Analysts (entry level). This is an outstanding opportunity for talented people to have a fast-growing career and help in shaping the future of our Asia business unit.

• Drive projects covering a broad range of cybersecurity, digital risk, and technology consulting topics, including IT strategy, digital transformation, data governance, and business transformation.
• Autonomously manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Prioritize tasks and escalte issues to management when necessary.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
• Foster and enhance strong client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in cybersecurity.
• Support business development activities such as drafting and presenting proposals.
• Play an active role in driving internal initiatives that support the growth and development of our Asia business unit.

Qualifications

Required qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Management, Analytics, Cybersecurity, STEM, or other relevant fields.
• Prior consulting experience including project management, change management, organizational transformation, process re‑engineering.
• Foundational knowledge in IT, with strong preference in cybersecurity topics.
• Demonstrated solid consulting skills, business acumen, and project delivery capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and contribute to team success.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ambition to grow consulting as well as technical skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is highly preferred.
