Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Engineer to join our team at Changi Naval Base. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of naval electronic systems, including radars and communications, ensuring optimal performance.

The role requires a strong background in networking, software, and digital services, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to adopt AI, machine learning, and automation tools to stay ahead of maritime technology trends.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, IT, or digital and network engineering.
• Certifications with electronics modules may apply.
• Ex-RSN personnel with electronics systems experience may apply.
• Experience in electrical works is a bonus.
• Familiar with radar, communications or weapon systems is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of USVs. This role requires a strong background in networking, software, and digital services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of naval systems to ensure optimal performance
• Provide technical support and training to customers and end-users
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in unmanned systems and maritime technologies
• Willingness to adopt new technologies, including AI, machine learning, and automation tools

Skillset Requirements:

• Strong foundation in electronics engineering, IT, or digital and network engineering principles
• Proficiency in networking concepts and digital services
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on naval systems
• Ability to assess situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions
• Adaptability, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation
