Job summary

Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities seeks an Early Intervention teacher to support children aged 0–6 with motor, communication, social, self-help and cognitive needs. You will implement routine-based programmes within a small group setting and partner with a transdisciplinary team of educators and therapists.

Responsibilities include planning engaging activities, preparing age-appropriate resources, maintaining safety, and mentoring junior staff while adhering to programme policies and family-centered

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Psychology, Early Childhood, Social Work or Special Needs.
• Relevant work experience in teaching children aged 0–6 in Early Intervention settings.
• Valid First Aid Certificate and ability to implement health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement routine-based intervention programmes to meet each child's IEP.
• Work toward functional child outcomes using naturalistic strategies and prompts differentiation.
• Mentor and supervise Assistant Teachers and Teacher Aides in classroom management.
