Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited seeks an experienced Senior Full-Stack Architect to lead design, development and cloud transformation initiatives in an insurance-focused environment. You will drive architecture discussions and oversee delivery of end-to-end applications across frontend, backend and cloud platforms.

You will mentor teams, enforce coding standards and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of full-stack development experience with at least 5 years in a technical leadership capacity.
• Proficient in Angular, Node.js, React and Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Ability to mentor developers and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end applications across frontend, backend and cloud environments.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
• Lead the development and delivery of new features, enhancements and platform capabilities.
• Perform code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues in collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Implement security controls including authentication, authorisation, encryption and risk mitigation measures.
• Produce high-quality, scalable and well-documented code following established coding standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure project deliverables meet quality, timeline and budget expectations.
• Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to SCRUM-based project delivery.
• Assist in production support activities and critical incident resolution when required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across development, deployment and operational processes.
