The role requires 6+ years in a broadcast newsroom or real-time desk, deep knowledge of global financial markets, and proven leadership coordinating coverage across TV, print, and digital platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a broadcast newsroom, assignment desk, or real-time wire agency
• Strong understanding of global financial markets and APAC dynamics
• Proven ability to coordinate breaking coverage across TV, print/wire, and digital platforms
• Exceptional editorial judgment for real-time, fast-paced news rooms
• Ability to work early morning shifts aligned with APAC market opens

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary editorial bridge between Bloomberg TV, the global print newsroom, digital desk, and social media teams
• Identify market-moving headlines, verify, and lead breaking coverage
• Deliver fast, precise updates to live show producers and on-air anchors
• Pre-position embargoed stories with live show producers for instant releases
• Perform high-speed data entry and real-time text delivery across newsroom platforms
• Maintain a calm, decisive presence in a fast-paced newsroom
