Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead eSoftware Engineer to join the Electronic Trading Technology team. You will contribute to building, enhancing, and delivering trusted market-leading technology in a secure, scalable way for Asian markets.

You will lead design and implementation of algorithmic trading strategies, ensure production stability, and drive automation, cloud-native initiatives, and agile practices within a diverse, inclusive engineering culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.
5+ years of software engineering experience with mastery in Java.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and production stability.
In-depth knowledge of Java programming and SDLC.
Automation, CI/CD, and agile methodologies proficiency.
Experience with cloud-native environments.
Knowledge of financial services IT and equities trading systems.
Hands-on experience in algorithmic strategy development.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a benchmark algorithmic trading platform for Asian markets.
Contributes to front office pre- and post-trade analysis and trading strategy design.
Designs and builds algorithmic trading strategies and a robust trading platform.
Delivers secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
Identifies opportunities to automate remediation for stability.
Leads vendor evaluations and architectural discussions.
Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies.
Supports diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect within the team.
