Job description

Position Overview

As an Individual Needs / Learning Support Teacher at one of our kindergartens, you will be responsible for providing specialised instruction, skills training, and individualised support to students with diverse learning needs and abilities. The role involves assessing students, developing and implementing personalised education plans, facilitating small group learning, and collaborating with classroom teachers to foster an inclusive environment. This role requires you to focus on aiding students’ growth and development both in and out of the classroom.

General Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Postgraduate in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent, which qualifies them to teach 3‑5 years of age
• Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE)
• Newly qualified teachers or teaching experience within a recognised educational institute

Important Note

The iPGCE (assessment only) does not qualify for Teacher Registration status from the Hong Kong Education Bureau, which is a crucial requirement for teaching at an ESF school.
