Job summary

Flow Traders in Hong Kong is seeking a Junior Quantitative Researcher to join the quantitative trading team. This role offers exposure to mathematics, statistics, and machine learning to develop models for live markets.

You will design, implement, and optimize models, analyze large datasets, and collaborate with traders and technologists to bring research into production, while learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Math, Physics, CS or related quantitative field.
• Strong statistics and linear algebra knowledge.
• Experience implementing models in Python or C++.
• Deep Learning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently on open-ended problems.
• Ownership and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, optimize, and deploy models for systematic trading.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and signals for trading strategies.
• Collaborate with traders and technologists to deploy models to live production.
• Monitor and refine models based on live market performance.
