Job summary

Star Anise Limited, a leading Hong Kong law firm, invites a junior commercial litigation and arbitration lawyer to join its General Commercial Litigation team. You will handle diverse disputes, draft pleadings, and assist on cross-border matters under supervision.

The ideal candidate is HK-qualified with 2–3 years PQE in general litigation, fluent in English and Cantonese (Mandarin a bonus), and able to work under pressure in a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• HK-qualified with 2–3 years PQE in general litigation and dispute resolution.
• Experience at an international or top-tier domestic firm is advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Work on a broad range of commercial disputes, including complex litigation and arbitration.
• Draft pleadings, regulatory responses and client correspondence; conduct legal research.
• Assist in cross-border disputes and regulatory matters under supervision.
