Qualifications

• Strong technical background in insurance system implementation and support.
• 10+ years experience in financial institutions or insurance environments.
• Hands-on skills in Java and React development.
• Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, or MySQL databases.
• Familiar with Azure cloud, APIM, and AI-related technologies.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Identify areas for system enhancement and define solutions.
• Design or modify core insurance systems, mobile solutions, data platforms, and vendor tools.
• Review vendor proposals, technical documents, contracts, and statements of work.
• Validate API specifications and coordinate architecture reviews with the governance board.
• Oversee system cutovers, migration activities, and production deployments.
• Deliver user training to support adoption during and after system rollout.
• Provide ongoing advisory support and resolve post-implementation issues.
• Use system data to generate insights that support strategic project decisions.
