Our client in Hong Kong is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead risk-based IT and technology audits, aligning with business goals. You will scope, perform fieldwork, evaluate controls and report findings to stakeholders, driving practical improvements.

Responsibilities include monitoring remediation, contributing to annual audit planning and collaborating with Internal Audit colleagues on special reviews. A Big Four or large-organization background is preferred, with relevant IT and risk

• Certifications such as CISA, CIA or CPA are highly regarded.

Our client is a well‑known company in Hong Kong and they are looking for a IT Audit Manager to cope with their business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of the organization’s business model, technology landscape, operating processes and key risk areas to support risk‑based audit activities.
• Manage end‑to‑end IT, technology risk and operational audit engagements, from scoping and fieldwork through evaluation, documentation and final reporting.
• Assess the effectiveness of IT governance, internal controls and risk management practices, highlighting control weaknesses and recommending practical improvements.
• Present audit observations and recommendations clearly to business and technology stakeholders, translating complex technical matters into concise, business‑focused messages.
• Monitor agreed remediation actions, validate corrective measures and provide timely updates on outstanding audit issues and risk exposures.
• Contribute to annual audit planning, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives, while working closely with Internal Audit colleagues and management on special reviews and other assignments.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in IT audit, technology risk, internal audit, IT governance or related technology functions, gained within a Big Four/consulting firm or a sizeable organization.
• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or another relevant discipline, with strong planning and project delivery capabilities.
• Broad exposure to areas such as IT general controls (ITGC), cybersecurity, technology governance, IT operations, change/project management, third‑party risk or technology‑related regulatory requirements.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA or CA are highly regarded; candidates with strong audit experience from Big Four firms / Financial Service Companies are particularly welcome.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, complemented by effective stakeholder management, influencing, communication and audit/report‑writing skills.
• Self‑driven and collaborative, with a high level of ownership and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
