Janus Henderson Investors in Hong Kong is offering a 6-month internship, January to July 2027, focusing on hands-on experience in the Greater China team. You will participate in research projects, develop data analysis skills, and gain exposure to ESG engagements and client materials.

Qualifications

• University student in Hong Kong pursuing Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
• Interest in mutual funds and asset management industry.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with portfolio managers and research analysts in Greater China team focusing on investment research projects and data analysis.
• Assist in information gathering and meeting preparation.
• Conduct meetings with company management and sellside analysts.
• Conduct ESG Engagement.
• Update data file on regular basis for portfolio management.
• Develop expertise in data resources, such as Bloomberg / Factset, to aid research process.
• Prepare client presentation deck and marketing materials.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Your opportunity
This is a 6-month off cycle internship programme from January to July 2027 focusing on first hand experience in the team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on the job learning, skills trainings and networking.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with portfolio managers and research analysts in Greater China team focusing on investment research projects and data analysis

Must have skills

• University student from a tertiary institution in Hong Kong, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a similar discipline
• Possess an interest in mutual funds and a basic understanding of the asset management/private banking industry
• Exceptional analytical and research skills
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Copilot)
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
• H ighly organized and efficient, with strong attention to details
• Proficient in AI models and agents (co-pilot, models of OpenAI and Anthropic)
