Job summary

Changjiang Securities International Financial Group Limited is seeking a junior investment research professional to monitor Hong Kong and global markets and assist in evaluating investment opportunities and products. You will help prepare due diligence reports and internal approvals while maintaining relationships with market participants.

The role requires a finance-related degree and 1–3 years of securities or asset management experience, with strong English and Chinese skills and proficiency

Job description

Monitor market developments across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and international financial markets, and assist in conducting research and analysis on investment strategies, asset allocation, and various financial products.

Assist in identifying, screening, and evaluating investment opportunities, including conducting research on relevant institutions and products, information collection, due diligence, product comparison, and risk analysis.

Support the preparation of investment proposals, business plans, due diligence reports, and internal approval materials, and assist in driving the internal approval process and implementation of investment projects.

Maintain regular communication with banks, securities firms, asset managers, fund managers and other market participants to understand market products, transaction arrangements and industry developments.

Assist in the development of new investment products and business cooperation projects, including coordination with other business lines within the Company and the Group.

Participate in the execution and ongoing management of investment projects, including product onboarding, transaction arrangements, valuation, performance tracking, risk monitoring and periodic reporting.

Support the trading, financing, settlement and day-to-day operations of the existing investment portfolio as required, and participate in the establishment and maintenance of departmental policies, workflows and investment databases.

Perform other investment research and business support duties as assigned by the department.

Requirements:

University degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Financial Engineering, Mathematics or other related disciplines.

1-3 years of relevant work experience in securities, banking, asset management, funds, family office, or other financial institutions. Experience in proprietary investment, asset management, investment research, or financial products at a securities firm is preferred.

Good understanding of Hong Kong and international financial markets, with hands-on knowledge of one or more investment products such as fixed income, funds, structured products, derivatives or other financial products.

Strong capabilities in information gathering, investment analysis, report writing and presentation.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Bloomberg, Python, VBA or other financial analysis tools is an advantage.

Detail-oriented, responsible and self-motivated, with strong learning agility, execution skills and communication and coordination abilities.

Able to work effectively in a small-team environment.
