Job summary

Industrials Equity Research Analyst (Multi-Strategy)

We are looking for a dedicated Industrials Research Analyst to join a multi-strategy investment team. The role focuses on independent coverage of the broader industrials universe across Asia and global markets.

What you will do

Drive independent research across the full industrials sector, covering major companies and sub-sectors on a regional or global basis

Generate differentiated long/short ideas through fundamental analysis, financial modelling, and industry deep-dives

Work closely with portfolio managers on idea generation, risk assessment, and ongoing coverage

Track industry developments, competitive dynamics, and company-specific catalysts outside of narrow thematic areas

What we are looking for

Solid experience in a hedge fund environment

Demonstrated ability to independently cover an entire sector universe across Asia or global markets (candidates limited to Hong Kong/China coverage only will not be considered)

Background in multi-strategy or platform settings preferred; pure long-only or low-turnover long-biased experience will not be considered

Strong focus on core industrials — candidates whose coverage is limited to AI-adjacent themes (such as power infrastructure, grids, data centers, or liquid cooling) will not be considered

Solid modelling, analytical, and communication skills

Fluency in English; additional Asian languages are a plus
