Job summary

AirTrunk Hong Kong is seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist on site, reporting to the Associate Director - Electrical Systems, to work with DC Operations and Development teams across HK. You will lead HV switching, develop MOPs with GCs, and deliver technically precise projects for customers.

You will maintain HV/LV switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS and DC systems, attend factory tests, and support design reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven experience in high voltage switching and LV equipment.
• Electrical license Cat H0 with C0 is required.
• Solid knowledge of MV and LV systems including EHV, MV, LV gens, UPS, PTU, ATS.
• Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin/Cantonese beneficial.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams and explain to non-technical colleagues.
• Understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Effective participation in technical meetings and safety reviews.
• Willingness to travel to HK sites and APAC region.

Responsibilities

• Lead high voltage switching operations across HK sites with safe operation methods.
• Develop MOPs with General Contractors and DC operations to meet safety requirements.
• Work with commissioning team to deliver technically accurate projects.
• Provide technical support for LV equipment to operations.
• Attend factory witness testing in HK or abroad (MV/LV).
• Author HV switching instructions and conduct peer reviews.
• Prepare/review MOPs for electrical integration works.
• Review MOPs from partners (MV/LV).
• Conduct MV switching with local DC operations on HK sites.
• Lead maintenance/inspection of HV/LV switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, DC systems and busways.
• Assist commissioning with HV/LV apparatus and equipment.
• Support design reviews for new HK projects; understand low voltage infra.
