Job summary

Deepstone Tech is seeking an algorithm engineer to join the core algorithm team and help power fintech products with high-performance computing, optimization modeling, machine learning, and applied cryptography.

You will design and optimize pricing models, risk metrics, and portfolio optimization while building production-grade Rust or C++ components and deploying ML models in production environments. A strong foundation in math, cryptography, optimization, or ML is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Cryptography, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in algorithm development, software engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Proficiency in either Rust or C++— one of the two is sufficient.
• Foundations in Cryptography, Optimization, or Machine Learning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and optimization of core financial algorithms like pricing models, risk measurement, and portfolio optimization.
• Assist in building and deploying ML models (market signals, anomaly detection, predictive modeling).
• Develop production-grade components in Rust or C++, with profiling and performance tuning.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions with senior engineers and researchers.
• Keep track of academia/industry developments for potential product applications.
