Job summary
Leadingnation in Hong Kong seeks a detail-oriented professional with packaging/printing product and garment trims expertise to support quotations, supplier coordination, and quality assurance. Strong MS Office skills and communication with overseas teams are essential.
Junior to senior applicants are considered; travel to China/overseas may be required. Immediate availability is advantageous and a competitive benefits package is offered.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree holder or related working experience.
- At least 1 year experience in packaging/ printing product and garment trims accessories.
- Ability to communicate with overseas colleagues.
- Experience with EU/US market product quality requirements.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
- Willing to travel to China/overseas if required.
Responsibilities
- Issue quotations requests to suppliers and negotiate prices.
- Insert and file quotations and sample orders in the system after analyzing data.
- Follow up production with suppliers and keep head office and logistics informed of delivery.
- Provide the QC dept. with information for inspections and resolve doubts.
- Monitor invoices/credit notes from suppliers for accuracy before payment.
- Coordinate with Shipping Dept and update customers on status and records.
- Possible trips to suppliers and mainland sites may be requested.
- Report activities to the Manager and maintain records and traceability.
- Cover for team members during absences as directed by the Manager.
