SMT Hong Kong Ltd. is seeking a Project Director (Investment and Development) to lead the end-to-end sourcing, evaluation and execution of PE investments across regional markets. You will oversee origination, due diligence, structuring and closing while mentoring an investment team.

The role requires a strong quantitative background, 8+ years of experience, and fluency in Mandarin and English, with frequent travel to overseas markets and Mainland China. HK-based with regional exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (MBA), Law, or a related quantitative field.
• Over 8 years of related business experience.
• Experience in managing investment and finance teams is an advantage.
• Experience gained from Chinese or Chinese-background investment platforms is highly preferred.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the Hong Kong and Mainland China market and regulatory environment.
• Frequent business travel to overseas and Mainland China is highly required.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement targeted investment plans aligned with the company's long-term asset allocation and strategic goals.
• Lead market research and industry analysis to identify cross-border and regional investment opportunities.
• Lead negotiation strategies regarding deal structure, pricing, terms, and shareholder agreements.
• Manage, mentor, and foster the growth of investment analysts and team.
• Ensure all investment processes comply with regional and international regulations and internal risk policies.
• Assist chairman of the board with ad-hoc projects.
