Job summary

ASMPT Group in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join the Group Internal Audit team. The role conducts financial, operational and compliance audits, develops audit programs and tests, identifies control weaknesses and communicates findings to local management.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, a CPA/CIA/CISA or similar certification is advantageous, and has at least 6 years of audit experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related discipline.
• CPA, CIA, CISA or similar certification would be advantageous.
• Minimum 6 years of internal or external audit experience in financial, risk and compliance audits.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis and reporting skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; report writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial, operational and compliance audits, and ad-hoc assignments per audit timelines.
• Formulate audit programs and perform detailed audit testing.
• Identify control weaknesses and suggest practical risk mitigation measures.
• Liaise with auditees to formulate action plans and communicate findings with management.
• Collaborate with departments to address audit findings and recommendations.
• Prepare internal audit reports and present findings to management.
• Assist in annual audit plan and quarterly Audit Committee reporting.
• Take up special assignments from management when required.
