Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd is seeking an Investment Strategist for the Global CIO Office's equity strategy team. You will craft high quality views on global equities, collaborate across teams, and publish market commentaries while managing the team’s model portfolios.

The role requires 4–6 years in equity analysis or related finance roles, strong macro knowledge, and fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Hybrid working options and a robust benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• 4–6 years of relevant equity analysis or investment research experience.
• Strong understanding of equity markets and macro trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the equity team in developing investment views and materials.
• Promote CIO views and engage with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with advisors and RM to address client queries.
• Prepare equity publications, market commentaries and content.
• Manage and maintain the equity team's model portfolios.
