Job summary

King Deux is seeking a highly motivated Equity Research Analyst to join our Investment Team. You will conduct fundamental research on global listed equities with a focus on robotics, machinery, and consumer sectors, building complex financial models and generating ideas to support portfolio decisions.

You will work closely with Portfolio Managers, preparing research reports, and communicating insights to internal committees and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related disciplines; CFA qualification or progress toward it preferred.
• 3-6 years of equity research, asset management, or family office experience, with exposure to robotics, industrial automation, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills; proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg.
• Deep understanding of global equity markets and secondary market dynamics.
• Experience communicating complex ideas clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental equity research across global secondary markets with a sector focus on consumer and robotics.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, perform valuation analyses, and monitor KPIs for coverage.
• Identify investment opportunities and contribute actionable insights for portfolio construction and asset allocation.
• Stay ahead of macroeconomic and industry trends and assess implications for strategy.
• Prepare high-quality research reports, presentations, and written recommendations for committees and clients.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to refine investment theses and maintain top-down and bottom-up perspectives.
• Engage with management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to refine investment views.
• Support ongoing monitoring of portfolio holdings, performance attribution, and risk management.
