Job summary

ST Engineering Geo-Insights Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Geospatial Solutions Developer to design, implement, and optimize algorithms that transform satellite remote sensing data into actionable geospatial insights for maritime, agriculture and sustainability applications.

You will work with product and engineering teams to translate AI requirements into robust software, review publications, and integrate ML models into geospatial system products, using Python, OpenCV, PyTorch and LangChain.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is desirable but not required.
• Strong knowledge of ML/DL concepts and practical implementation skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver results.

As a Geospatial Solutions Developer, you will be responsible to develop and implement algorithms to process raw data from satellite remote sensing, into useful information that can be analysed subsequently. You will be detail oriented and possess an innate curiosity to extract useful signals from noise and perform experiments to calibrate and improve the information quality.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in machine learning and deep learning technologies.

• Proficient in python programming and experience with libraries such as OpenCV, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and LangChain.

• Knowledge of Flask, NodeJS or other app frameworks, and containerization, for quick prototyping.

• Knowledge of Large Language Models, Retrieval Augmented Generation, retrieval optimization will be an advantage.
