Job summary

City University of Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant (full-time/part-time) in the Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences to support a 15-month project evaluating digitally supported team-based learning with GenAI.

You will assist the PI in implementation, develop Canvas modules and assessment materials, set up quizzes and reporting workflows, and collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data for dissemination in reports and manuscripts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a related discipline.
• Strong written English and Chinese skills with good computer literacy.
• Independent and collaborative work capability.
• Experience in teaching/research and course evaluation preferred.
• Familiarity with SPSS, R, Stata, NVivo, Excel or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Canvas and e-learning tools advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PI in implementing and evaluating the Team-Based Learning redesign of Light Touch GenAI.
• Develop Canvas modules, RAP question banks, 4S case materials, rubrics, peer-evaluation tools.
• Set up and manage Canvas quizzes, assignments, surveys, rubrics, and reporting workflows.
• Collect, organise, and analyse quantitative and qualitative evaluation data.
• Assist in preparing project reports, implementation guides, dissemination materials, abstracts and manuscripts.
• Liaise with course staff, students, support units, and other stakeholders.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
