Job summary

Carrefour Global Sourcing in Hong Kong is seeking a proactive GCP Systems Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our cloud environment. You will safeguard Google Cloud spaces and support engineering teams for high availability, security, and cost efficiency.

Your responsibilities include deploying and scaling Cloud Run and GKE, managing Cloud SQL, and implementing VPC/subnetting, firewall rules, Netgis deployment, and cost-control measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in cloud systems administration, infrastructure management, or a related role
• Mandatory Certification: Google Professional Cloud Administrator or Architect certification
• Hands-on experience with GCP Compute (Cloud Run, K8S) and Networking (VPC, Netgis deployment, Cloud Load Balancing)
• Proven management of Cloud SQL and database lifecycle operations
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts, DevOps frameworks, and automation tools
• Knowledge of FinOps concepts and GCP Billing/Cost Management tools
• Programming experience with teams using various IDEs, such as Python in VS or building AI agents in Google AI Studio (Preferable)

Responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain containerized environments using Cloud Run and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Manage Cloud SQL and other database services with backups, high availability, and performance tuning
• Execute end-to-end VPC setup, including subnetting, firewall rules, and Netgis deployment
• Drive cloud efficiency by monitoring spend, implementing right-sizing, and managing committed use discounts
• Maintain a 'Least Privilege' security posture through IAM and policy enforcement
• Support CI/CD pipelines and use IaC for consistent environment provisioning and maintenance automation
