Job summary

Monkey Tree English Learning Center in Hong Kong seeks passionate teachers to join our diverse community. You will help develop young minds through phonics, reading comprehension, creative writing and grammar, while planning lessons and activities.

We offer an orientation program, 12 days leave, career development opportunities and a supportive team ready to help you grow. Applicants must have teaching qualifications and be eligible to work in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English required.
• University degree plus TESOL, CELTA or TEFL (100 hours minimum) required.
• Or Bachelor of Education/University degree plus Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching/TESOL.

Responsibilities

• Teach phonics, reading comprehension, creative writing and grammar.
• Plan and implement lessons, crafts and activities.
• Administer student progress reports to parents.
• Organize and prepare necessary class materials.

Requirements

• Candidates should be fully fluent in English
• A University Degree from an accredited university + TESOL, CELTA or TEFL (100 hour minimum)
• OR a Bachelor of Education/University Degree + Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching/TESOL Degree
• A valid passport (with at least one year on it)
• A clear criminal record, both domestically and abroad.
