Job summary

AI Doctor Scan seeks a hands-on Full-Stack AI Product Engineer to turn ideas into production features across the core scan journey, results, and platform.

You will ship end-to-end features, integrate AI and vision APIs with guardrails and observability, and prioritize safety, speed, and privacy-by-design while collaborating with clinical-safety and growth teams. This role is fully remote with global scope.

Qualifications

• Strong experience shipping production web products end to end.
• Fluency with React/Next.js and TypeScript, plus Python, Node.js or a comparable backend stack.
• Practical experience with APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, testing, CI/CD and monitoring.
• Good product judgment: balance speed, quality, usability and risk.
• Clear written English and comfort working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end product features across photo upload, analysis, results, reports, authentication, payments and analytics.
• Integrate AI and vision APIs with robust validation, evaluations, guardrails, observability and graceful failure handling.

Build an AI health product that helps people decide what to do next.AI Doctor Scan makes fast, plain-language first-step guidance more accessible. A user uploads a photo of a visible symptom—such as a skin spot, mole, rash, eye, nail, mouth concern or wound—and receives AI-generated triage guidance, a confidence score and practical next-step information. It is educational triage, not a medical diagnosis.The roleWe are looking for a hands-on full-stack product engineer who can take an idea from user problem to reliable production feature. You will work across the core scan journey, result experience and supporting platform, with meaningful ownership and a strong focus on safety, clarity and speed.What you will do

• Ship end-to-end product features across photo upload, analysis, results, reports, authentication, payments and analytics.
• Integrate AI and vision APIs with robust validation, evaluations, guardrails, observability and graceful failure handling.
• Improve performance, reliability, security and privacy-by-design across the product.

• Collaborate closely with clinical-safety, content and growth contributors so that the product is useful without overstating what AI can do.

• Ship at least one meaningful improvement to the scan or result journey and measure its effect.
• Make a core AI workflow more observable, reliable and safe in production.
• Establish a clear, prioritized technical plan for the area you own.
