Job summary

Binance is seeking a frontend/full‑stack engineer to design and build the login, registration, and account‑security apps across web and mobile. You will own the in‑house AI facial recognition security product for KYC verification and liveness detection, replacing the current vendor solution, with hands‑on work on passkeys, MFA, WebAuthn, and biometric flows.

You will collaborate with the AI, product, risk, and backend teams to deliver high‑scale, low‑latency services and maintain shared security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–8 years frontend or full‑stack experience with consumer products.
• Strong web fundamentals and React/TypeScript proficiency.
• Production Node.js experience and server‑side rendering.
• Experience with authentication, MFA orchestration, and security UX.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain login, registration, and account security apps for web and mobile.
• Build the in‑house AI facial recognition security product end‑to‑end for KYC verification and liveness detection.
• Develop authentication capabilities (WebAuthn, passkeys, MFA, biometrics).
• Own MFA orchestration layer and optimize for security vs. completion rate.
• Collaborate with AI and product teams to integrate facial recognition into frontend/backend services.
• Maintain shared security components and SDKs; manage bundle size and backward compatibility.
• Develop Node.js server‑side layer and BFF with reliable routing and performance.
• Handle platform‑specific behavior for web, mini programs, and low‑end devices.
• Boost engineering quality with tests, instrumentation, and observability.
• Use data to optimize login/verification funnels and reduce drop‑off.
• Coordinate with product/design/risk/backend/iOS/Android teams for end‑to‑end delivery.
