Job summary

Fidelity International is seeking an experienced Product Owner for Fixed Income in Hong Kong. You will act as the voice of the business within the squad, translating strategic objectives into a prioritised backlog and delivering measurable value for Fidelity's Fixed Income investment business.

The role requires deep Fixed Income knowledge, strong backlog management and stakeholder engagement across global teams, with delivery across front‑office investment processes and technology platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in investment management technology, front‑office change or product delivery roles.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
• Deep domain knowledge of Fixed Income investment strategies and portfolio management processes.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end investment lifecycle and supporting tech ecosystem.
• Experience working with Portfolio Managers and investment teams to deliver tech solutions.
• Demonstrated experience prioritising backlogs in Agile delivery environments.
• Experience delivering complex technology implementations from concept through deployment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence across business and tech functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the squad backlog, ensuring it is prioritised and aligned to strategic objectives.
• Translate epics into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Make active prioritisation decisions considering business value, dependencies and risk.
• Participate in Quarterly Planning and other Agile events to ensure realistic commitments.
• Accept or reject completed work against agreed acceptance criteria and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters and engineering teams to maximise squad effectiveness.
• Be the primary interface between the squad and stakeholders across Fidelity's Fixed Income business.
• Build relationships with Portfolio Managers, Investment Directors and risk/ops teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve investment processes and operational efficiency.
• Gather and refine requirements to address underlying business needs.
• Drive adoption of new capabilities through stakeholder engagement and training.
