COFCO Capital (Hong Kong) Co., Limited is seeking an experienced Fixed-Income Portfolio Manager to lead expert reviews, pitches, and portfolio management with a strong focus on risk control and performance attribution. The role emphasizes macroeconomic analysis, credit fundamentals, and cross‑regional client engagement.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years in fixed-income portfolio management, proficiency with Bloomberg/Reuters, and CFA preferred, with fluency in English and Chinese (Putonghua).
1.Serve as the fixed-income asset class subject matter expert (SME) to provide professional support for client reviews and new mandate pitches, ensuring authoritative insights and solutions.
2.Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic trends, monetary policies, and credit fundamentals, identifying high-potential investment opportunities while implementing robust risk control measures for portfolio management.
3.Identify, research and evaluate diversified investment opportunities and trading ideas across the full spectrum of fixed-income asset classes, covering government bonds, credit bonds, convertible bonds, money market instruments, and related products.
4.Ensure strict adherence of all portfolio management activities to internal investment guidelines and regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance throughout the investment lifecycle.
5.Prepare periodic investment reports with clear articulation of investment rationale, portfolio performance, and market insights, and deliver high-standard professional presentations to internal stakeholders and external clients.
6.Closely monitor market dynamics, proactively adjust core portfolio parameters including duration, leverage, and asset allocation, and optimize strategies to achieve predefined investment objectives.
7.Track portfolio performance and suitability on an ongoing basis, conducting periodic portfolio reviews and in-depth performance attribution analysis to drive continuous optimization.
8.Provide support for the development of new business initiatives and the enhancement of existing investment products, contributing to the expansion of business boundaries and product competitiveness.
9.Fulfill other ad-hoc assignments and daily operational tasks assigned by the department head in a timely and efficient manner.
1.Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a quantitative-related discipline (e.g., Financial Engineering, Statistics).
2.A minimum of 8 years of hands‑on experience in fixed‑income portfolio management, with a proven track record of managing portfolios to meet or exceed performance targets.
3.Proficiency in operating mainstream financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) and advanced skills in financial modeling, capable of translating data into actionable investment decisions.
4.CFA charter holders are preferred, with a solid grasp of professional investment knowledge and industry best practices.
5.Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, with fluent Putonghua, enabling effective communication with internal teams and clients across regions.
