Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a Finance Associate or AVP to join its Deals team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on supporting transaction execution, investment onboarding, and ongoing portfolio management across industries.

You will coordinate with external advisors during due diligence, review legal and financing documents, manage SPVs and funds flow, and provide financial oversight through reporting and NAV calculations. Strong Big 4 TS background is preferred.

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Investments and Deals teams across different industries to support transaction execution, investment onboarding, and ongoing portfolio management activities.
• Coordinate with external advisors throughout the due diligence process, including the review and assessment of financial due diligence findings, risks, and recommendations to support investment decision-making.
• Review and analyze key transaction, financing, and legal documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, term sheets, escrow arrangements, and debt facility agreements associated with acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing transactions.
• Manage the setup and maintenance of investment holding structures and special purpose vehicles (SPVs), while overseeing deal closing mechanics, funds-flow planning, and coordination with treasury teams on capital movements and foreign exchange settlements.
• Support the financial oversight of investment portfolios through the review of periodic management reporting, cash flow reporting, net asset value calculations, and annual statutory financial statements.
• Collaborate with teams across Asia and global offices to coordinate funding activities, including capital calls, distributions, subscription facilities, and other financing arrangements.
• Act as a key liaison with external service providers, auditors, administrators, and professional advisors to ensure timely completion of audit and compliance requirements.
• Perform financial analysis, portfolio reporting, and special projects to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making.

Profile

A successful Finance Associate or AVP should have:

• Practical knowledge of business finance and financial reporting.
• Big 4 Transaction Services Team from Senior Associate 3 to Manager 3 level
• Experience analysing financial data and preparing clear reports.
• Ability to work accurately with detailed financial information.
• Understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Capability to investigate data variances and provide clear explanations.
• Confidence working with Accounting & Finance teams on reporting priorities.

Job Offer
