Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 5–7+ years of proven experience as Private Banker, Relationship Manager, or External Asset Manager in Hong Kong.
• Valid HKSI Paper 1, Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 4 (Advising on Securities) licenses; IIQE is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin to service cross-border and local HNW clients.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, advise, and retain a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients to grow AUM.
• Coordinate with custodian and partner private banks for trade execution, KYC/AML, and custody.
• Provide tailored wealth management, portfolio construction, and risk management solutions with independence.
• Ensure all advisory activities comply with SFC, IA guidelines, and internal risk controls.
• Monitor markets and adjust client strategies accordingly.

We are seeking an experienced and client-centric External Asset Manager (EAM) to join our growing wealth management firm in Hong Kong. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and family offices, leveraging partnerships with top-tier private banks to deliver independent, bespoke investment and asset allocation strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Acquire, advise, and retain a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients, expanding the firm’s Assets Under Management (AUM).
• Coordinate closely with custodian and partner private banks for trade execution, account opening, KYC/AML compliance, and asset custody.
• Provide tailored wealth management, portfolio construction, and risk-management solutions free from single-bank product push.
• Ensure all advisory and portfolio activities strictly adhere to Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and Insurance Authority (IA) guidelines and internal risk policies.
• Monitor global financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and product performance to adjust client investment strategies proactively.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7+ years of proven experience as a Private Banker, Relationship Manager, or External Asset Manager in Hong Kong.
• Valid HKSI Paper 1, Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 4 (Advising on Securities) licenses (Type 9 asset management license experience is a strong plus) and Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE).
• Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin to service cross-border and local HNW client segments.
• Strong track record in client acquisition, deep understanding of multi-asset classes, and high ethical standards.
