Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world‑class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combating illegal gambling.
The Charities and Community (C&C) Division manages strategic planning, grant donations, impactful project initiation, community engagement, and the day‑to‑day operations of the HKJC Charities Trust. C&C works with the Government, NGOs, and community partners to proactively identify root causes of social issues and address them through innovative approaches and cross‑sectoral collaboration.
Reporting to the Head of Charities (Education & Youth Cluster), this role will oversee the strategic portfolios of Education to drive social impact; launch and monitor the development and implementation of Trust‑initiated and Trust‑funded projects; identify community service gaps and develop new initiatives; review and update funding strategies as appropriate; and promote project impacts and the Trust’s thought leadership in public, regional, and global arenas while facilitating experience sharing across relevant sectors.
