Job summary

Environmental Officer in Hong Kong civil construction projects is seeking a qualified professional to establish and maintain an on-site environmental management system. The role involves ensuring compliance with contracts and company requirements, and coordinating environmental activities across the project team.

You will prepare and submit environmental documents, deliver trainings, attend meetings, and handle permits applications.

Qualifications

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Science or completed HK Institute of Construction Environmental Officer Course.
• Minimum 4 years experience in construction industry.
• Experience in civil construction projects is a must.
• Good knowledge of environmental abatements in construction sites.
• Work independently with initiative, maturity and high sense of responsibility.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Environmental Officer.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an environmental system operating for a construction site.
• Carry out duties as required in the construction contracts and the Companys requirements.
• Prepare and submit environmental-relating documents.
• Deliver environmental-relating trainings to various levels of staff of the project team.
• Attend all environmental-relating meetings.
• Prepare environmental documents and permits applications.
