Qualifications

• Education and experience requirements as listed: high school diploma or GED with 6 years in engineering/maintenance, or an associate degree with 4 years experience.
• Technical training in HVAC-R, Electrical, or Plumbing is expected.
• Alternative pathway includes a 2-year degree with 4 years experience in engineering and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering operations and budget, coordinating with leadership to track performance against budget.
• Manage the physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and energy conservation.
• Administer service contracts and ensure fire safety and campus alarms procedures are understood by the team.
• Develop operating strategies aligned with the property brand and financial goals, and manage long-term asset protection plans.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 6 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing training

2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 4 years experience in engineering/maintenance; HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing training
