Job summary

Hong Kong Center For Construction Robotics is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop, iterate, and maintain software for smart controllers based on STM32, NXP, and Infineon MCUs. You will implement low-level drivers, participate in hardware-software co-design, perform Linux driver work, and contribute to documentation, testing, and on-time delivery across prototype and mass-production phases.

Strong knowledge of CAN/UART/SPI/I2C and RTOS will help you succeed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Information, Automation, Computer Science, or related fields.
3+ years of embedded software development experience.
Proficient in C/C++ for embedded development with memory management skills.
Strong STM32 MCU experience with Cortex-M4/M7 and HAL/Standard libraries.
Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, RT-Thread, or uCOS).

Responsibilities

Develop, iterate, and maintain embedded software for MCUs (STM32, NXP, Infineon).
Develop and debug low-level drivers and peripheral interfaces (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, USB).
Participate in hardware-software co-design and board bring-up.
Conduct Linux kernel driver development and maintenance.
Produce technical documentation and testing specifications.
Support prototype testing and mass production; fix software issues.
Use Git/SVN for version control and code reviews.
Coordinate with product, testing, and production teams to ensure timely delivery.
