Job summary

Island School, part of the English Schools Foundation, is seeking an Educational Assistant to support learners with diverse needs within the ILN Faculty. The role involves collaborating with teachers to adapt materials, supporting individual students and small groups, and assisting with English literacy across curricula.

The successful candidate will be a patient, flexible team player with native-level English, a good sense of humor, and a commitment to student wellbeing and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Native-level English proficiency with strong writing support.
• Able to work with diverse learning needs including Dyslexia, ADHD, ASD.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and teaching with teachers to plan and adapt materials.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to support engagement and progress.
• Assist in access to curriculum, camps, and school activities.
• Help monitor progress and maintain student records.
• Provide personal care support where required and support safe learning environments.
