Job summary

PanoSense Tech Limited in Hong Kong seeks a research-oriented AI engineer to develop and deploy algorithms for computer vision and edge AI inference on embedded platforms, collaborating with the hardware team.

You will train, optimize, and port models, track frontier AI technologies, write technical docs, and participate in technical reviews as part of a fast-moving product group. Requirements include a Master’s/PhD in STEM, ML/DL with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and Python proficiency.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mathematics.
Solid foundation in machine learning / deep learning; proficient in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Project experience in computer vision, NLP, or edge AI.
Proficient in Python; knowledge of C++ is a plus.
Good English reading skills for academic literature.
Eligible under Hong Kong RTH subsidy (STEM Master’s/PhD).

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy AI algorithms for computer vision and edge AI inference on embedded platforms.
Design, train, optimize, and deploy AI models.
Port and tune algorithms on embedded platforms in collaboration with the hardware team.
Track frontier AI technologies and evaluate their application in product scenarios.
Write technical documentation and participate in technical reviews.
