Job summary

Moody's is seeking an Economic Sanctions Analyst to join its global Economic Sanctions Team.

The Analyst will support Moody's compliance with applicable economic sanctions laws, regulations, and internal policies, reviewing screening alerts, conducting due diligence on customers, vendors, and other third parties, documenting findings, and escalating potential sanctions concerns to leadership when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in sanctions screening, watchlist alert investigation, due diligence, regulatory compliance, government service, or related fields.
• Familiarity with U.S., UK, EU, and other international sanctions regimes.
• Experience reviewing sanctions alerts and conducting due diligence reviews.

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate watchlist screening alerts involving customers, vendors, and other third parties.
• Analyze potential sanctions matches and determine false positives or true matches.
• Escalate sanctions-related concerns to management and stakeholders as necessary.
• Maintain records to satisfy legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
