Job summary

Write Edge is hiring Specialist English and Writing Teachers in Hong Kong to lead small groups, using our proven materials. You will teach 1.5 hour sessions, assess student work, and communicate progress to parents while contributing to curriculum enhancements.

The role welcomes those familiar with HK education, with English fluency and a passion for student growth, and requires weekend availability with travel between centres.

Qualifications

• Degree in English, Literature, Linguistics or related fields.
• Strong command of English (spoken & written).
• Familiar with Hong Kong education system, curriculum & assessment requirements.
• Experience in teaching English, writing, or tutoring is an advantage.
• Patient, engaging, and passionate about student growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-group classes (up to 8 students) using structured materials and lesson protocols.
• Facilitate teaching and marking during 1.5 hour lessons according to the scheduled time.
• Evaluate student work and provide feedback to support learning.
• Communicate with parents professionally to share student updates and address concerns.
• Collaborate on curriculum enhancements and special projects.
• Available to work on weekends and travel between Write Edge centres.
