Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director in the Control Group – Research & Investment Banking Coverage in Hong Kong. This role will lead the oversight of Information Barriers and manage conflicts of interest while collaborating with senior stakeholders in a regulated environment.

The right candidate will have extensive compliance experience, ideally 6+ years, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills. This position also demands robust stakeholder management abilities across various business units.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory environments within financial services.
• Deep understanding of insider trading, market abuse, and Information Barrier frameworks.
• Proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the oversight and maintenance of the Firm’s Watch and Restricted Lists.
• Oversee documentation and governance under Wall Crossing policies.
• Chaperone communications between Research and Private Side businesses.
