Job summary

Rubicon Media Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a dynamic Digital Writer to craft daily fashion articles and social content. You will develop content plans aligned with editorial calendars, curate visuals, and optimize for SEO while collaborating with designers, photographers and editors.

You will bring a bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field, 2+ years of digital writing experience in fashion, and strong English writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Fashion Media, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Digital Writer, preferably in fashion.
• Proficiency in CMS platforms (WordPress), SEO, and social media tools.
• Video editing experience for short-form content (CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus.
• Strong writing and editing skills with keen sense of style and tone.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, pitch, and write daily articles and social media stories based on emerging fashion trends and audience interests.
• Develop and execute digital content plans aligned with the magazine’s editorial calendar
• Curate visual content including photoshoots, reels, and social media assets
• Optimize articles for SEO and audience engagement
• Collaborate with designers, photographers, and editors to build visually appealing posts, and assist with writing copy for branded campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Fashion Media, or related field
• Proven work experience as a Digital Writer (2 + years), preferably in fashion industry
• Proficiency in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), SEO, and social media tools
• Video editing experience for short-form content such as reels and promotional clips is a plus
• Hands-on video editing experience for short-form social content, with familiarity in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or After Effects considered a significant advantage
• Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for style and tone
• Passion for fashion and deep understanding of industry trends
• Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
