Reports to:

Global Digital Adoption Manager (London) / Head of IT & Facilities, Asia

Main duties and responsibilities:
Learning Design & Delivery:
  • Identify learning needs through training needs analysis, feedback and project requirements, and design learning that targets them.
  • Create and maintain learning materials, such as quick reference guides, videos and eLearning, and develop role-based learning paths (e.g. for fee earners, secretaries and business services teams) to build skills over time.
  • Design and deliver AI training (e.g. Microsoft 365 Copilot and the firm's AI tools), helping colleagues use AI safely, responsibly and effectively.
  • Deliver virtual training across APAC time zones, adapting content for local practices and terminology.
  • Support technology projects by designing and delivering learning content, adapting existing content for regional requirements, and delivering in-person training across APAC offices (occasional travel required).
  • Deliver technology induction training to APAC new joiners.
  • Administer courses, learning paths and enrolments in Workday Learning, and keep the APAC training calendar up to date.
  • Evaluate how effective training is, using completion data, feedback and follow-up, and act on the findings to improve content.
  • Contribute to competency mapping aligned with the LTC4 legal technology competency framework, and support colleagues to complete LTC4 learning plans and certification.
  • Stay up to date with legal tech and AI trends to keep training content relevant.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and build enthusiasm for new technologies.
Adoption Support:
  • Work with the APAC Technology Champions network to encourage adoption of new and existing tools.
  • Contribute learning content to adoption communications, such as newsletters, intranet pages and launch messaging.
  • Help deliver structured, workflow-led AI adoption programmes with APAC teams, including discovery sessions, hands-on coaching, supporting AI Champions, and capturing practical use cases and before-and-after usage results.
Engagement with Stakeholders:
  • Work with legal and business services teams to understand how they use technology, their challenges and their learning needs.
  • Gather feedback, usage data and support trends to identify skills gaps, and share insights with the global Digital Adoption team.
Technical Support:
  • Provide first-line, desk-side and floor-walking support for users in the Hong Kong office, especially around go-lives and new joiner inductions.
  • Troubleshoot common application issues (e.g. Microsoft 365, iManage, Intapp Time) and elevate more complex issues to the IT Service Desk.
  • Spot recurring support issues and turn them into training or guidance to reduce repeat requests.
  • Support regional IT projects and system upgrades across APAC offices, focusing on user readiness, go-live support and floor-walking, working closely with the Head of IT & Facilities, Asia.
Key relationships:
  • Global Digital Adoption team
  • Legal and Business Services teams
  • Technology Champions
  • Transformation and Legal Engineering teams
Person specification:

  • Experience creating engaging learning content and delivering training across multiple formats.
  • Understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to present to large groups and senior audiences, both virtually and in person.
  • Fluent business English and Cantonese, written and spoken. Conversational Mandarin.
  • Familiarity with technology such as Microsoft 365, Copilot and generative AI tools, document management systems (e.g. iManage) and time recording software (e.g. Intapp Time).
  • Experience administering a learning management system (e.g. Workday Learning), including courses, learning paths and enrolments.
  • Able to quickly self-learn and adapt to new technologies and applications.
  • Able to work effectively as part of an inclusive and fast-paced team.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills; ability to multitask and work independently in a regional role, with support from a global team.
